  • What services are included in the Logo Signing Program?
    Gas, Food, Lodging, Camping, and Attraction services are eligible for participation in the South Carolina Logo Signing Program.

  • Are all businesses providing these key services eligible to participate?
    There are specific criteria which each type of service must meet to be eligible for the program. Click on the Eligibility Criteria link for a listing of the specific eligibility criteria required for participation.

  • Can seasonal businesses participate in the Logo Signing Program?
    Yes, but the business logo signs must be covered or removed during those times the business is not in operation.

  • How much will it cost to participate in the Program?
    • Standard Interchanges with AADT less than 30,000
      • $900 per year/per direction/inclusive of mainline and ramp sign
    • Intermediate Interchanges with AADT from 30,000-50,000
      • $1,500 per year/per direction/inclusive of mainline and ramp sign
    • Premium Interchanges with AADT more than 50,000
      • $2,500 per year/per direction/inclusive of mainline and ramp sign
    • All trailblazers $200 per year/per trailblazer
    NOTE: Additional fees for production and installation of logos also apply.

  • How will the signs be maintained?
    All logo sign maintenance will be performed by South Carolina Logos or its subcontractors.

  • Once I am in the program can my business plaque be removed?
    Yes, conditions can result in the removal of your business sign. Your business sign will be removed if your business ceases to exist or at any time fails to comply with applicable laws or the criteria for participation in the program.

  • How will the distance be measured to determine if my business meets the mileage eligibility criteria?
    Distance will be measured from the off-ramp terminal (where the off-ramp intersects the crossing road or frontage road) nearest to the business under consideration. The measurement will begin where the left edge of the off-ramp pavement intersects the near edge of the crossing road pavement. If the off-ramp terminal is channelized, the measurement will begin at the intersection portion of the terminal nearest to the business under consideration.

  • How will it be determined what businesses have priority if more than six (6) businesses in any one category wish to participate?
    If the number of qualifying businesses exceeds the available spaces on the sign panel, bids will be solicited annually from all of the qualified businesses.
